Panhandle Press: Now with more Pyron!

This week's arc in Panhandle Press dances a bit with necromancy, as Colt and Pyron find themselves sucked into a hellish pocket dimension. If you're not already reading Panhandle Press, you can jump in at the beginning of this arc or the very first strip.

A new C.P. Stanford & Joseph Hills comic launches today.

Check out Panhandle Press. It's like i.rev. but with an expected run of seven years, and new art every day!

"Was Chif in the building when it exploded?" - Jayngfet
He and Jill were tied up on an enemy airship turning back toward the Texan capital. Jill wasn't expected to be in the factory when the Minister of Defense went to talk to Pyron, but the Texans weren't going to miss the chance to kidnap and interrogate a high ranking Roaman official.

"Did you willingly shun the X_X eyes tradition, or is Hashi not really dead?" - Gez
With a wound like that, Hashi would not have died instantly, but was probably dead by the time Jill and Chif were escorted out at bowpoint.

"Does this mean everyone is dead?" - Kgummy
Only people in the building at the time were immeidately killed by Pyron's magical explosion, but I'm not going to address at this time whether or not the bombships aborted their mission with the Minister of Defense dead.

"I've been reading since the start. I love the comic. Is this the final end?" - Bronallen

Bron, I appreciate your support, but Industrial Revolutionary is over. What I wanted to establish has been established. I know most people are used to webcomics ending out of boredom or laziness, but I had this tale slated to end here since the beginning.

"Wow, you really need to continue the story. Pretty please?" - Raroy

While i.rev. is complete, the stories that begin here will be continued in other comics, and the stories that end here will originate in other comics. Confused enough?
i.rev. is a prologue to a story about war between Texas and Roam, and the epilogue to a story about The Roaman Empire and the Vampires . Both of those stories are forthcoming as my skills advance over the next few years, but to focus on the near future...

"What's the next "one-shot" story planned?" - Gez

Good question, Gez. The next story we're going to be sharing will be a more lighthearted backstory comic about one of the characters from Jack of All Blades. Art Frederick will be taking the writing lead on that one while I focus on developing the stories I mentioned earlier. Expect it by early summer.

"Now that the industrial revolution comic is over, do you plan to make one about an information revolution?" - Thomas

Yes, though possibly not in the way you mean. I'm working now on a comic about an underground newspaper in Texas a few hundred years before i.rev. takes place. You should see it by the end of this year.

I appreciate all of your questions. If you want to be informed about future projects as they debut, check back with us at my other comic, Jack of All Blades, which updates Monday.

Thanks for reading!

Mailbag goes up at noon CST.

Most of the questions were, "is it really over?" so I'm gonna give you a few more hours to respond.
